LIVING WATER CHURCH
Foundations and Governance
Establishment of Living Water Church
Living Water Church was officially established as a legal entity in February of 2024. LWC, lead by Pastor Andrew Keener, was born organically from a group of believers who collectively desired more fellowship together and a church that dove deep into the truths of the Holy Bible.

Strategic foundation
All goals, objectives and plannings are a result of who we are and what we are trying to accomplish with Jesus Christ as our foundation, our cornerstone. We are building a church built on Biblical Teaching, Discipleship, Fellowship and Community Care.

Mission
We are a body of believers who honor God’s Word. We are a people who love and seek the Lord for opportunities to help not only ourselves but those around us become more like Jesus and equip them to do it.

Vision
Armed with Biblical truth and the power of the Holy Spirit we care for one another and bring the radical, life changing love of Jesus to our communities and beyond.

Core values
Living Water Church is a local congregation of believers attempting to fulfill the great commission and the great commandment, beginning in the South Riding/Aldie desiring to stretch all around the world.
The Great Commandment
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22
The Great Commission
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28
This purpose is summed up in the statement “Go and be the Church”.
In order to carry out this purpose we operate under the conviction of the following core beliefs:
-
God’s Word. We believe God gave us the 66 books of the Bible to be received as the inspired, authoritative, and infallible Word of God for salvation and life. Despite their complexities, these books can be understood, trusted, and followed.
-
God exists in three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
Ever human being is created in the image of God and deserving of dignity, respect, and love. However, all humanity has been separated from God because of sin and is in need of rescue.
-
Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, has accomplished everything necessary to redeem us from sin, bestowing upon us His own righteousness, and welcoming us into the family of God through His life, death and resurrection. This is the truth of the good news of The Gospel.
-
Salvation is given to all who believe and trust in the work of Jesus Christ. It cannot be earned by our actions. It is only through Jesus that we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, allowing us to live as people who are filled, empowered, and led by the Holy Spirit.
-
The Church is composed of people who have trusted Christ as savior and Lord, being born anew into God’s family. The Church has been given a responsibility and privilege to bring the good news of salvation to the world and train others in what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Every member has a gift from God to strengthen the church as we carry out this mission.
-
Jesus will one day come back to the earth and bring an end to this age. He will bring righteous judgment; rewarding those who have put their trust in Jesus and punishing the wicked. Because of this reality, understanding that our time is limited, our work in the Great Commission is urgent.
